CAPTAIN BRODERICK
I just wanted everyone to know that on November 1st Rex got promoted to Captain (o-3). His friends initiated him pretty bad, so he said he will be sending photos soon.
yay for Richie! And you of course! That's awesome. He actually called me and we got to talk for a little bit on Sunday. It was really good to hear from him. I'm going to be in SLC Tuesday, want to do dinner?
Congrats! It's about time the Army stepped up and gave Rex what he deserves. I'm glad for both of you. Now I'm in the Army I'm learning more and more what it means to serve, and although my experiences may be limited right now I'm still very proud of Rex for all his service and the sacrifices you both have to make on behalf of civilians who for the most part don't have a clue.
